There is a choice of walks here, with plenty to do in Shoreham itself. There is a lovely tea shop and a museum opposite with a few decent pubs too. There is a very nice short walk alongside the river Darent towards Lullingstone Castle which, although a very short walk, has some great views of the lavender fields. You can stop for a gander or some refreshments at the “Hop Shop” en-route, but you will have to retrace your steps back unless you want a much longer return walk.
